There was a time when I thought silence meant something was wrong. That I’d lost my words. That I had nothing relevant to say.


But now, I know: silence is not the absence of voice; it is the presence of something deeper. 


It began slowly. 

At first, the quiet just felt weird and unfamiliar. Like I’d walked into a room where no one else was speaking, and I didn’t know if I was supposed to whisper, sing, or sit in stillness. 


So I did the only thing I knew how to do. I stayed. And in the staying, something softened, unfurled, opened.


It wasn’t dramatic. It didn’t look like healing. It didn’t sound like revelation. But…
